Miss India Australia embraces the best of Australian and Indian culture presenting a unique opportunity for Australian women to engage with and celebrate rich Indian heritage with contemporary Australian identity. Through Miss India Australia platform, the aim is to give a voice to this unique identity and positively contribute to modern Australia.

The Miss India Australia Contest, in its 7th year, has had an overwhelming support and participation from the local Australian Indian community and is now evolving into the platform of choice for the young culturally aware Australian women.

Miss India Australia 2004, Australian born, Vimala Raman, has already made her mark in the Indian film industry. She has completed over 10 films as the lead and is now in the midst of a hectic acting career.

The Miss India Australia 2010 Talent + Model Search will be held at the Seymour Centre, Sydney on March 13th 2010, with the crowning of the MISS INDIA AUSTRALIA 2010. There will be contestants participating from Australia wide – Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

This year in 2010 Miss India Australia Talent & Model Search is introducing NEW INTERNATIONAL MODEL & TALENT SEGMENT, which will give an opportunity to all Australian Women to showcase their talent and the dynamic Australian fashion flair.

The Indian Segment will include the Indian dress round and the main Talent Round where each contestant gets 3 minutes to showcase her talent on the stage. There will be Q & A round and of course crowning ceremony as the finale.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Suri will be the celebrity guest at the event who will talk about his upcoming films.

The Miss India Australia 2010 winner will go overseas to represent Australia in the Miss India Worldwide final amongst 30 countries, courtesy Miss India Australia organizers. The World event will be held in Durban, South Africa where 30 countries will be participating for the 2010 title.
