I have been into this issue since a month or so, and now I forward it all you out there. It’s not about me, but a very close friend of mine.
Being a meritorious student since her school days only, a very lovely daughter, and an amazing friend to be with, she is very ambitious and dreams to achieve much higher.
All the lovely things to starred with, she is different from us in one way and that is, she is physically challenged. And now after her graduations aspires to pursue studies abroad.
Thanks, to the concerned government that they are talking so much effort for encouraging people who are challenged. Seriously, the number of programs, sessions, scholarships etc. that the colleges are providing are worth applauding.
But, the prime concern is that, How the people out there, treat such people and that too immigrants? Are they treated the same way as the normal people?
This has been very serious with us, because firstly, she won’t be having any native there, and secondly, if treated differently, God Forbid, can lead to depressions!
She is totally relying on my suggestions, so I am into a real conflict about this.
Would like to hear from you people who have been already to the place, and know the gentry there. Such a help!
